"So this guy comes in and sticks his finger in my face and say, ' this is a hold up. Gimme the money'. I looked at him an I goes, ' That's just a finger'. He goes, 'Oh'. Then he sticks his finger in his pocket and says, ' This is a hold up. Gimme the money'. So I did".

The detectives listened to this with great interest. It was the dumbest story they'd ever heard. They told the man to call a lawyer and then they'd talk some more. The guy gets a lawyer and the lawyer listens to the story. Then he tells the guy, "That's your story? That's the dumbest story I've ever heard."

"Well", the guy tell the lawyer. " it's all I could think of."

"Well, you should have thought a lot harder. A lot harder. The cops don't even want to question you any further. Not that I'd let them. You've locked this up so tight for them I don't think I can even get a plea bargain".

"What are you talkin' about? They ain't got nothing on me", the man tell the lawyer.

"The video doesn't show what you say. It shows you putting a bunch of money in your pocket and then calling 911. They don't need anything else".

"Well, dang! I should have planned this better. I forgot the camera. You know what? I should have wore a mask".
