The NHL Is A Horse's Ass

For those of you who don’t know, a majority of people, the NHL, the National Hockey League, is, was, a professional sport. The league recently called off their entire season. Talk about does a tree make any noise when it falls if no one is there to hear it. This was just that.

Gary Bettman, the Commissioner of the NHL, said, “This is not a dispute between rich owners and rich players on how to divide up the money. I don’t have any money and I’m involved. No, for me, it’s personal. I got tired off being turned upside down by those ruffians when I visited the locker rooms. They’d shake me to get at my loose change”.

One unidentified owner was quoted as saying, “The dummies only want to skate around and get paid for it. I figure if that’s what they want go join the Ice Capades. Other than that they only want to fight and slash with sticks. I can get that downtown for free.”

A player was reported as saying, “Yea?! Next time I see that squirt I’m going to kick his scrawny butt for him!”

A randomly selected fan said, “Canceled the season? Is that right? I guess I haven’t been paying any attention.”

A TV executive respnded to the question with, “What’s a NHL?”.
